Whisked Away Cutters are designed by a cookie decorator for cookie decorators with steps taken to produce a top level product. Although they could be produced faster and less expensive, we designed our cutters to have smooth strong walls, an additional reinforced area where the handle is attached and then going down to an all-important thinner tapered cutting edge. This makes for a smooth, clean cut with excellent results. Admittedly, our cutters are a tad ‘overdesigned’ due to these efforts, but we feel that it makes for a product that we feel good putting our name on and fellow decorators will be happy to use.

Our cutters produced with a 3d printer and are made with the highest quality food safe PLA, a food grade plant based plastic. They require certain care in they are HAND WASH ONLY and are not dishwasher safe, as that can damage or melt the PLA. Along those lines they are not to be soaked in hot water, used to cut hot cookies or exposed to high heat. Hand washing in hot, soapy water is the proper care. As well, to prevent damage to the tapered edge, please store carefully in order that other cutters or additional items will not hit and damage them. Also, they cannot be stored near heat as well. Whisked Away Cutters is not responsible for damage caused by improper care of the cutters. Proper care will ensure a long, happy life for your cutters.

SHIPPING:
You will receive a tracking number once you have placed your order. Once we ship a box with USPS it is no longer under our control. USPS has made some changes in protocol, so please note that some deliveries are experiencing delays. Please monitor your tracking. If you see a delay beyond a reasonable amount, please contact your local post office and give them your tracking number so they can help you. If tracking shows that the box has been delivered and you did not receive it please contact your local post office immediately with your tracking number so your postal carrier can let you know if they put it in a different location than normal or find if it was misdelivered. Once a box has left our hands it is the responsibility of USPS. Whisked Away Cutters is not responsible for delays or lost boxes once they are shipped. First class shipping will not insure a box. If you wish to have your order insured, please select priority mail shipping and that will insure it for up to $100. With the insurance provided by Priority Mail shipping a claim for reimbursement can be made if the box does not arrive. First Class will not allow for reimbursement.

*** Domestic Shipping:
USPS has raised its rates. As well, Etsy now takes a substantial percentage from the shipping fees paid by the customer. Shipping changes have been made to meet those increases. We ship USPS First Class mail, which is stated as 4 - 6 business days. Priority Mail is stated as 2 - 3 business days. If you wish to have Priority Mail, please select that when you finalize your order.

***International Shipping:
We are now shipping internationally via USPS First Class International as that is the best rate for the customer. USPS raised its rates and Etsy now takes a percentage of shipping fees paid by the customer. Due to shipping issues related to Covid, insurance is now included in the shipping fee. Shipping changes have been made to meet those increases. Please be aware that there may be fees (VAT, customs fees, duties or import taxes) due by the customer when receiving an order from the U.S. Our shop does not collect VAT nor do we pay those fees. They are incurred by the customer in areas where applicable. Your customs form will have the value including shipping listed on the box. Each country will have a threshold before charging fees and it varies by country. For example, our understanding is that the U.K. has a low threshold of approximately $24, but some countries will have a threshold of $200, so it is dependent upon the country. Also, if applicable, please be aware that Royal Mail may charge a handling fee. Please allow two to six weeks for international shipping if not longer due to delays due to Covid. Tracking is provided, but only within the U.S. Once it leaves the U.S., we cannot track it. If your box has not arrived within 45 days, please contact your local Post Office first. If it does not arrive to you and is returned to us, we will reimburse the cost of the cutters minus the shipping.
